Regina Alicia Floyd was born February 26th, 1969 to the late Wilbur Floyd and Eva Pearl Floyd.
She grew up In Yalaha, Florida and accepted Christ in her life at a young age. She attended Oak Park Elementary, Dabney Middle East, Carver Heights Jr., and Leesburg High School.
She relocated Long Island, NY in 1986, where she served faithfully under the auspices of Elder DR. Sherman L. Roberts; Church of God by Faith Wyandanch, New York. She was a choir member, worked with the Pastor's Aid Committee and the Youth Department.
After being in New York for several years, she came back to Orlando, Florida and was employed at Inter-Continental florist, United Health Care (as a Consultant), and Amerigroup Corporation until her health began to fail.
Regina was the family comedian. She loved singing, was very closely knitted to her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins; she loved her entire family who affectionately called her “GinaBoo”. Regina was very strong in her faith, her prayer life, and totally committed to God’s Word.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, several aunts/uncles, four brothers- in-law, one niece, one nephew, and a dear friend Christina “Christy” Green.
Regina is survived by six sisters and four brothers: Theresa Adams, Daytona Beach, FL; Johnny Hatten, Palm Coast, FL; Donna Wimberly, Daytona Beach, FL; Malvern Stewart, Jacksonville, FL; Desarae Stewart, Daytona Beach, FL; Wanda Roberts-Williams(Johnny) The Villages,FL; Miriam Green, Maitland, FL; Marcus Floyd, Daytona Beach, FL; Calvin Floyd, Clermont, FL; Debra Floyd, Lockport, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, one aunt(Sheryl Baker), one uncle(Andrew Floyd), cousins and friends.
She will be truly missed by us all. She fought a good fight and kept her faith, her praise and her worship was very strong.
