Oscar Armando Munoz Jr, age 65, of Clermont, Florida, peacefully passed away on April 26th, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.
Oscar was born on January 5, 1957, in the bustling city of Medellin, Colombia. As a young boy, his family moved to Brooklyn, New York. He was an amazing soccer and baseball player at Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, where he graduated in 1974. Oscar then pursued a career in the restaurant industry and became an entrepreneur while living in New Jersey. After many years in the New York area, Oscar relocated to Orlando, Florida, and became a cast member for Disney.
Oscar was predeceased by his father Oscar Armando and mother Evelina Ochoa, aunt Ismenia Munoz, and first cousin Gaston Orlando Munoz. He is survived by his wife Alba Nery and their daughter Sarah; son Jose Antonio Munoz; granddaughter Samantha; daughter Jessica Munoz, grandchildren, Alex, Christian, Julian, and Jazlyn; his brother Hugo Nelson; niece Lydia and nephew Hugo Enrique; brother Carlos Alberto; aunt Leonora Ochoa; first cousins Ellia Otalvaro; nephews Juan Diego and Sebastian; first cousin Ricardo Leon Munoz; nephew Jaime and niece Monica and her children Manolo y Juanita.
Oscar will always be remembered for his incredible personality and ability to connect with people. He lived his life making other people laugh and smile. Services will be held at Floyd’s Funeral Home, 858 W Minneola Ave, Clermont, FL on April 30th from 4-6 pm.
