Loretta (Dobson) Cunningham

Loretta was born to the late Robert Dobson, Sr. and Sally Bell Springer Dobson on March 15th, 1933.

Loretta was united in Holy Matrimony to the late J.D. Cunningham for over 40 years. In that union were born six loving children.

Loretta remained a faithful member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she held as Superintendent of Sunday School and a member of the choir.

Loretta leaves to cherish her many memories to children: Kent, Keith (Celestine), Freda, and Kirk. Preceding her in death were sons: Kevin Sr, and Kerry. She also leaves behind her siblings: Bertha Carroll, Marilyn Mack, and Charles Dobson, Sr. She was preceded in death by the following siblings: Rev. Robert Dobson, Jr., Clarence Dobson, Shirlene Waters, and Helen "Bootsi".

She leaves behind a special cousin (like a sister) Thelma Williams (Leah), 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren, along with a host of loving Godchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
